Gem Training International Diamond and Gemstone Courses
Depending on your preference, you can do the courses online or by correspondence. You will have access to subject specific videos that will assist you in understanding the theory material. An additional advantage is the opportunity to enrol for the practical workshops which will give you “hands-on” experience to reinforce the theory.

DIAMONDS AND DIAMOND GRADING
To give the student, a comprehensive theoretical background and knowledge of diamonds and diamond grading, from the formation through to the pricing of the polished gem, all presented through the easy to access online portal.
DIAMONDS FOR THE RETAIL JEWELLER
The objective of this online course is to give the students an overview of diamonds from formation and the Kimberly process, with the emphasis on the 4 C’s and the understanding as to the make-up of the information on diamond reports.
ESSENTIALS OF COLOURED STONES
The online course will give the student theoretical knowledge and understanding of the most popular 18 gemstones, their properties, common simulants, synthetics, and treatments.
METALS USED IN JEWELLERY
To give the student a comprehensive background, knowledge and understanding of metals used in jewellery, including the grading systems, hallmarking and identification, all presented through the easy to access online portal or via correspondence.
INTRODUCTION TO TANZANITE
To give the student a comprehensive background, knowledge and understanding of Tanzanite and its common simulants.
