2020 is, thankfully, behind us. The holiday season is over, and we’ve taken the decorations down. Our collective New Year’s hangovers have abated.
So many people are looking at the ravages of this tremendously difficult time and wondering where to go from here. TERS has stopped, debt holidays are over, and debit orders are bouncing all over the place. Established businesses have closed their doors after years of pouring blood, sweat, and tears into their endeavour.
Many of us are battling to stay afloat and wonder if we’ll be among those who have to call it a day as well.
Author Roy T. Bennett has this to say:
“Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end.”
You can give up, or you can get up.
Now is the time to take action and focus clearly on what we do best. Take practical steps to fix what’s broken and grow yourself, your business, and your team.
Write down all your natural talents and consider how you can use them to their full potential. Do the same with your team – brainstorm ideas on how to build a better business.
Chat with your creditors, encourage transparency and communication, and make a plan. Offer your clients the very best service that will make them feel like a VIP as soon as they enter your store. As soon as your doors open, maximise every single opportunity to create a magical space to encourage them to talk, ask questions, browse, and buy.
Do those courses that will give you the knowledge and insight you need to close as many sales as possible and display your in-depth knowledge to your valuable customers.
We’re here to help in any way we can. Together, we’ll get through this.
